Double grafted apricot trees achieve higher yields due to better pollination and also extend the fruiting season. “Sundrop” and “Trevatt” are both popular varieties of apricot that bear tasty fruit in summer. The rootstock keeps this deciduous tree to about 4 m tall and 3 m wide, though it can be trimmed as necessary.
