“Tasty Blue” is a Blueberry variety that produces good yields of firm and juicy, medium sized fruit. The berries have a lovely flavour and ripen in late summer. New foliage is blue-green, matures to mid-green, then develops red-orange tones in autumn before falling. In warmer climates it may remain evergreen, however. This shrub typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun. It is tolerant of cool climates, though frosts in late spring can reduce yields.
