“Harwood Late” is a popular and widely grown variety of Orange that carries medium-sized, sweet and juicy fruit. The richly flavoured fruit are virtually seedless and ripen through spring and summer. They are set amidst the lush and glossy, dark green foliage. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 2.5 m tall and 2 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, protected from heavy frost. It will generally tolerate moderate frost once established. This popular variety is commonly included in a mixed planting, grown as an informal hedge, or maintained either in a container or in a courtyard garden.
