“Ruby” is an herbaceous perennial grown for its pretty flowers. Clusters of pink flowers are borne on slender stems that rise above the foliage in spring. This compact, low-growing plant forms a dense mounded of grass-like, dark green leaves. It typically grows to 15 cm tall and 30 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of light frost, coastal environments, and periods of dry. “Ruby” is ideal for rock gardens, coastal and cottage gardens, border plantings, or maintaining in a container.
