This variety of Rhodohypoxis is a small, herbaceous perennial grown for its petite nature and small flowers. It produces star-shaped white flowers with a pink undertone through spring and summer. These are held above the short, dark green leaves. It typically grows to just 10 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of wind, dry periods, frost, alpine conditions, and may die back during winter but will grow again when conditions warm. This Rhodohypoxis is commonly grown in a container, planted between pavers, or added to a rock garden.
