“Rekohu Sunrise” is a very attractive NZ native grass featuring variegated, arching green and cream coloured foliage. This elegant plant grows to about 40 cm high and the same wide. It grows best on a well-drained site in full sun and will tolerate coastal conditions, frost, and cool climates, but not prolonged periods of wet. “Rekohu Sunrise” is commonly used in border plantings, rock gardens, planted around the base of larger plants, mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, or simply grown in a container. The high aesthetic value of this plant makes it a popular choice and it is a fantastic inclusion for outdoor living areas or for growing indoors in a container.
