Small, yellow flowers in spring are borne amidst the foliage and combine nicely with the foliage. It grows as a clump to about 50 cm tall and 60 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This is a hardy plant that will tolerate drought, frost, cold climates, wind, coastal climates, and most soil types, except extreme wet. Lomandra ‘Lime Tuff’ is commonly mass planted either as a ground cover or on a bank, included in borders or mixed plantings, planted around outdoor living areas, or used anywhere a hardy and attractive grass is required. This green Lomandra is favoured by landscape designers across NZ.
