Coprosma repens ‘Hot Chocolate’, commonly known as Mirror Bush, is a NZ native, evergreen shrub that carries large, glossy, chocolate brown leaves. The leaf colouring intensifies as winter progresses. It typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide, though can be trimmed as necessary. ‘Hot Chocolate’ grows best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site though most intense colouring occurs in full sun.
