Coprosma repens ‘Ignite’, commonly known as Mirror Bush, is a compact, NZ native shrub, featuring colourful foliage. The small and glossy leaves are a brilliant red colour. This evergreen grows compactly to about 1 m tall and 60 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. This hardy plant will tolerate frost, cool climates, coastal climates, and most soil types, barring extreme wet or dry. Coprosma ‘Ignite’ is commonly grown as a specimen, trimmed into a low hedge, included in a mixed planting, maintained in a container, planted around outdoor living areas, or used to add vibrancy to an area.
