“Crimson Glory” is a variety of Manuka that features large, double, crimson-red flowers during late winter and spring. The deep green foliage is small, held densely, and during warm days produces a lovely fragrance. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade. It will tolerate extended dry periods, wind, heavy soils, frost, and cool climates. “Crimson Glory” is commonly included in a mixed planting, trimmed into a hedge, planted as a backdrop for smaller plants, or grown to attract native fauna. It is also well suited to planting around outdoor living areas.
