It grows with an erect and rounded growth habit to about 60 cm tall and 1 m wide. All parts of this plant are fragrant when crushed or brushed against, and it produces new growth quickly after trimming. This variety grows best when planted in a full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site, and it will tolerate coastal environments, moderate frost, and periods of dry. “Chef’s Choice” is a versatile plant that is ideal for adding to a mixed planting, mass planting as a groundcover, maintaining in a container, or including in the herb garden.
