“Apple Blossom” is a variety of Weigela grown for its colourful flowers and columnar growth habit. This compact shrub produces green leaves which are held densely on upright stems. The combination of flowers and foliage produces a fantastic and eye-catching display. This deciduous plant grows with an upright habit to about 1 m tall and 80 cm wide, and can be trimmed as necessary. It performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, and is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry.
