“Profusion” is a variety of Crabapple grown for its prolific flowering and colourful fruits. Showy and fragrant, dark pink-red flowers are borne in spring in such abundance that they literally transform the tree. These result in small, red fruit in autumn which attract all manner of wildlife. The foliage in spring emerges red, ages to bronze-green, then develops yellow and orange tones in autumn before falling. It typically grows to 5 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary.
