Agave americana, commonly known as Century Plant, Maguey, or American Aloe, features broad, powder-blue leaves that radiate outwards as it grows to 1.5 m tall and 2 m wide. A long stem often emerges during summer from the centre of the plant to bear clusters of orange flowers.
