The foliage comprises delicate, fern like leaves which are purple and it grows to just 10 cm tall and will eventually spread to 1 m in diameter. Hebe First Light
Hebe First Light is a spreading, NZ native shrub grown for its foliage and flowers. New foliage emerges with distinctive, dark pink undertones and ages to become glossy and dark green. Impressive, light pink flower spikes are borne from spring through summer above the foliage as it grows to 50 cm tall and 90 cm wide. Hebe First Light looks most effective when planted in clusters and is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, maintained in a container, or added to a cottage garden.
