New leaves emerge light green and are a great complement for the older, dark green leaves as it grows to 1.2 m tall and the same wide. Buxus Green Gem is commonly trimmed into a small hedge for borders, used for topiary, or maintained in a container. The ideal spacing for a Green Gem box hedge is 25-30 cm apart.
