Dicksonia squarrosa, commonly known as NZ Wheki or Rough Tree Fern, is a NZ native tree fern that features a slender trunk and lovely fronds. They are mid-green and form a small umbrella above the trunk as it reaches 6 m tall and 4 m wide. Dicksonia squarrosa is a great tree fern for adding to revegetation projects, native plantings, mixed plantings, or growing alongside a water feature such as a pond or stream.

The Blue Star Fern features wavy leaves that are a blue-green colour. This popular indoor plant grows as a clump to about 30 cm tall and the same wide.
