The fruit ripen in autumn and are held amidst the fresh, green foliage which develops yellow tones in autumn before falling. This variety requires another variety planted nearby such as Doyenne du Comice to aid pollination and produce good yields. It typically grows to 4 m tall and 3.5 m wide but can be trimmed as necessary. Pear Concorde is commonly grown for fruit production, included into a mixed planting, or grown as a specimen.
