Hardenbergia violacea, commonly known as the Happy Wanderer plant is a vigorous, evergreen climber grown for its pretty purple and white flowers. The flowers are pea-like in appearance and produced in clusters from late winter through spring. Complementing the showy flowers are the lush dark green leaves which are held densely. Hardenbergia violacea is commonly grown along fences, trellises, or pergolas, or allowed to sprawl as a groundcover if it has nothing to climb.
