Apodasmia similis, commonly known as Jointed Wire Rush or OiOi, is a reed like grass that features fine, grey-green leaves which have distinctive brown bracts at the joints. This NZ native grows to 60 cm tall and 50 cm wide. Apodasmia similis is a hardy grass that is ideal for coastal locations, riparian plantings, tough growing environments, or providing an element of unusualness to the garden.

Selliera radicans
Selliera radicans, commonly known as Remuremu, is a NZ native, herbaceous perennial that forms a tight mat of bright green leaves. The glossy and fleshy leaves are up to 4 cm long and become adorned with small, white flowers in summer as it grows to 15 cm tall and 75 cm wide. Selliera radicans is commonly included in borders, used in cottage gardens, planted around the margins of water features, maintained in a container, or planted beside a wall where it can cascade over the edge.
