Ficus lyrata, commonly known as the Fiddle-Leaf Fig, is a popular indoor plant. It features lush and broad, dark green leaves that are held off an upright stem. It grows with a somewhat narrow habit to eventually reach 20 m and 7 m wide when grown outdoors but generally only reaches 2 m tall and 1 m wide when grown indoors. Ficus lyrata makes for a stunning houseplant and is also well suited to growing outdoors in warmer climates.
