Escallonia White Knight

Escallonia White Knight is a popular variety of Escallonia in NZ gardens and is renowned for its attractive foliage and quaint flowers. Glossy, green leaves contrast beautifully with the clusters of white flowers through spring and summer. This evergreen shrub typically grows to 3 m tall and 2 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Escallonia White Knight is commonly included in a mixed planting, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, included in “white” gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or trimmed into a hedge.

Hebe Icing Sugar is grown for its compact form and prolific flowering through summer and autumn. Short flower spikes carrying pink and white flowers are borne amidst the lush and glossy, dark green leaves. This NZ native grows with a rounded shape to about 70 cm tall and 1 m wide. Hebe Icing Sugar is ideal for including in a mixed planting, mass planting either as a groundcover or on a bank, adding to borders, including in cottage gardens, or planting around outdoor living areas.
