The foliage comprises short and thick, grey-green leaves held densely on short stems which complements the flowers nicely as it grows to 40 cm tall and 60 cm wide. Hebe Champion
Hebe Champion is an exquisite variety that grows as a compact shrub and carries rounded, glossy, mid-green foliage. The leaves are adorned during summer and autumn with masses of blue-lilac spikes that gradually fade to white with age as it grows to 75 cm tall and the same wide. Hebe Champion looks most effective when planted in clusters and is commonly included in a mixed planting, used in borders, planted around outdoor living areas, maintained in a container, or added to a cottage garden. It is also well suited to being mass planted on a bank or the like.
