Libertia grandiflora, commonly known as the NZ Grand Iris or Mikoikoi, is a NZ native is grown for its beautiful flowers and lush foliage. Stems rise the foliage in spring to bear clusters of showy, white flowers in spring. The strap-like, dark green leaves provide an impressive contrast to the flowers as it grows to 60 cm tall and 75 cm wide. The delicate looking flowers are produced through spring and summer and are complemented with orange-yellow leaves that are both stiff and erect. It grows as a clump to about to 50 cm tall and the same wide.
