Metrosideros Maori Princess
Metrosideros excelsa Maori Princess is a lovely and popular variety of Pohutukawa due to both its flowering and great form. Clusters of showy, bright crimson flowers cover the tree in summer, and are complemented with glossy green foliage. This NZ native evergreen grows with an upright and broadly to about 10 m tall and 6 m wide. Metrosideros Maori Princess is an excellent choice for coastal gardens, adding to a mixed planting, trimming into a hedge, using as a backdrop for smaller plants, planting for screening and shelter, using in an avenue planting, or growing as a specimen.

Adiantum aethiopicum
Adiantum aethiopicum, commonly known as the Maidenhair Fern, is grown for its attractive and soft-looking foliage. The mid-green fronds emerge from a clump and are held both densely and gracefully. In the right conditions this NZ native will eventually reach 50 cm tall and the same wide, but it often only gets to just 25 cm tall and the same wide when grown indoors in a pot. Adiantum aethiopicum is commonly grown indoors as a potted plant and is well suited to bathrooms, kitchens, and other humid areas.
