Magnolia grandifolia St Mary is a popular of the Southern Magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora). From late spring through summer flower buds open to reveal large and fragrant, cream-white flowers. The blooms appear amidst the large and glossy, dark green leaves as it grows to 10 m tall and 8 m wide. Magnolia St Mary is commonly grown as a specimen, added into a mixed planting in a large garden, or used in an avenue planting.
