Almond All In One is a popular variety due to its large and sweetly flavoured nuts in autumn. It is self-pollinating so does not need another variety planted alongside to produce nuts. White flowers are produced in spring, just before the foliage emerges. They give way to dark green leaves which develop yellow tones in autumn before falling as it grows to 4 m tall and 3 m wide. Almond All In One is commonly included in a mixed planting or planted as a specimen with the fantastic advantage of nuts.

Juglans nigra, commonly known as Black Walnut or Eastern Black Walnut, is a large, deciduous tree grown for its edible nuts. Leaves emerge a fresh green in spring, mature to dark green in summer, then develop colourful, yellow tones in autumn before falling. Small, yellow flowers in spring result in the tasty nuts in autumn. This tree will grow to 25 m tall and 18 m wide and prefers a full sun position on a well-drained site. The Black Walnut is commonly included in large gardens as a specimen, grown as a shade tree, or simply planted for nut production.
