Fuchsia procumbens is a very low growing, NZ native, herbaceous perennial that is often used as a groundcover. It features small and round, bright-green leaves and grows to just 5 cm tall with a spread of 1 m. It bears small, yellow flowers in spring which are followed by large, red berries that are great for attracting native birds.
