Carex flagellifera Green is a NZ native, ornamental grass grown for its attractive foliage. It produces slender and lush, green leaves as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide. It grows as a clump to about 20 cm high and wide, growing best in full sun or partial shade. Festuca coxii is best showcased with a mass planting either in borders, rock, or cottage gardens, or on a bank.
