Acaena purpurea, commonly known as Purple Bidibidi, Piripiri, or Purple Hakea, is a hardy, NZ native groundcover. The foliage comprises delicate, fern like leaves which are purple and it grows to just 10 cm tall and will eventually spread to 1 m in diameter. Acaena Purpurea is commonly used in rock gardens, planted between paving stones, or used in borders.

These moss poles for plants are made from Coir Fibre (i.e., the husks of coconuts). They are an eco-friendly option to help plants grow healthier and stronger as they climb the poles, and are ideal for training climbing, indoor plants. The nursery industry commonly uses these poles for Philodendron, Pothos, and Monstera plants as a few examples. They are available in 50 cm and 100 cm lengths.
