Pittosporum Wrinkled Blue, commonly known as Kohuhu, is a small, NZ native tree that grows vigorously, producing small, silver-blue, wavy-edged leaves on thin, black stems. The growth is held tightly as it grows to 4 m tall and 2 m wide. Pittosporum Wrinkled Blue is commonly included in coastal gardens, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, trimmed into a hedge, or planted for shelter and screening.

Pittosporum eugenioides Variegatum, commonly known as Variegated Tarata, features slender, dark coloured stems which bear dark green leaves with a cream-white margin. Small and fragrant, pale-yellow flowers provide a lovely accent through summer. It grows reasonably quickly to about 6 m tall and 3 m wide. Pittosporum eugenioides Variegatum is ideal for shelter, screening, and hedging. It is also commonly used as a backdrop for smaller plants or included in native plantings.
