Earthmat Plant Shelter (50 Pack)
Earthmat Plant Shelters are 100% bio-degradable guards used in riparian plantings or areas where you want to give the plant protection from weeds and wind. They are manufactured in NZ using recycled cardboard and coated with a water barrier. The guard does not need to be removed once the plant has established as it will naturally break down. Each guard is 300 mm tall, 100 mm wide, and comes with a 40 cm bamboo stake. The stake is threaded through the holes and pushed into the soil. The pack also contains 50 Earthmat Squares which are 25 cm x 25 cm, and 50 Earthmat Pins. All this comes in a single carton which is easily transported to site.

It can be used as a complete growing media or mixed with composted bark, composted green waste, peat, pumice, perlite, or vermiculite. Our 200L compressed Coir bales are specifically prepared for Landscapers and hobby nurseries. Each bale weighs 30kgs which makes them light to carry by hand around a job site. The 6mm sieve size means this product can be used for seedling propagation, topping up garden beds & vegetable gardens, aiding with sowing new lawns, lightening heavy soils and mulching around plants.
