Lophomyrtus Red Dragon is a variety of the commonly known, NZ Myrtle, and is grown for its colourful foliage. Dark stems bear small and colourful, red-pink leaves which darken to black-red with age. Small, white flowers are borne in summer and contrast nicely with the foliage as it grows to 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Lophomyrtus Red Dragon makes a fine addition to any garden and will add colour and vibrancy. It is commonly clipped into a hedge, grown in a container, added to a mixed planting, or used to contrast with other plant colours.

Bougainvillea Scarlet O’Hara, commonly known as the Paper Flower, is a vigorous climber that produces magnificent, rich red flowers. In cool climates it flowers during summer only, but in warmer climates it may flower throughout the year and remain evergreen. It typically grows to 5 m tall and 4 m wide but is usually trimmed to control growth. Bougainvillea Scarlet O’Hara is perfect for training over an arch or gazebo or allowing to ramble along a fence. Where it doesn’t have a support structure it will grow as a groundcover and can be used for planting on a bank or the like.
