Elkhorn Fern, Staghorn Fern
Commonly known as the Elkhorn or Staghorn Fern, this plant is grown for its sculptural foliage. It produces large and deeply divided, dark green foliage that radiates from a central crown. The fronds resemble Elk horns, hence the common name. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered, frost-free site that does not dry out. “Netherlands” is commonly grown in a container indoors or included in a tropical garden.
