Buxus Graham Blandy Hedge
Buxus Graham Blandy, is a variety of Buxus sempervirens, and is reasonably popular for hedging. It grows as a narrow, columnar shrub with dark green leaves held densely on short stems. It is a slow-growing plant, reaching a height of 1.5-2 metres and a width of 0.5-1 metres over 10 years. The Plant Company recommends Buxus Graham Blandy where a Buxus sempervirens look alike is desired but with more height. In these instances, it is usually trimmed to a 1-1.5 m tall hedge. This Buxus is also great for growing in a pot or planting at an entrance to bring height and formality to the space.
