The most popular plants used for growing on walls are Ficus pumila and Hedera. These plants cling to walls and grow as a carpet across the space. Both plants are useful for hiding an ugly fence or wall, and will do this quickly. However, they are both vigorous plants that will need to be contained with trimming once they cover the space. They are also regarded as invasive in some regions so please be sure to check whether you are allowed to plant your selection.
