The plant called kitten ears is Cyanotis somaliensis, also known as pussy ears or hairy kittens. It is a small, succulent plant with fuzzy, green leaves that resemble kitten ears. The plant is native to Somalia and other parts of East Africa, but it is now grown as a houseplant in many parts of the world.
Kitten ears are relatively easy to care for and can be grown in a variety of conditions. They prefer to grow in bright, indirect sunlight, but they can also tolerate low light conditions. Kitten ears should be watered regularly, but the soil should be allowed to dry out between waterings. Kitten ears should be fed every month during the growing season with a balanced fertiliser.
Whether you need assistance finding the plant you’re looking for or you simply want to know more about who we are and what we do, we invite you to get in touch with us today. A member of The Plant Company team will get back in touch as soon as possible.
