Cranberry Bergman is a Cranberry plant that carries pale pink-white flowers in spring which are followed by 1-2 cm diameter fruits in autumn. The fruit are medium red in colour and have a pleasant flavour. The plant itself grows as a trailing, evergreen and usually reaches just 20 cm tall but 2 m wide. It has small, dark green leaves which develop purple tones as the weather cools. Best performance is achieved when grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is generally regarded as being cold hardy. Cranberry Bergman is commonly used as a groundcover, maintained in a container, or planted specifically for fruit production.
