Strawberry Camarosa
“Camarosa” is a popular variety of Strawberry owing to its large, dark red fruit which are firm with an excellent flavour. The conically shaped fruit ripen in summer and produce great yields. It grows as a clump to about 20 cm tall and the same wide, but will colonise a larger area with time. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun. “Camarosa” is commonly grown for fruit production and even the most novice grower can produce a fantastic crop of strawberries. It is also well suited to growing in a container (or hanging basket), including in border plantings, or adding to the edible garden.
