“Perpetual” is a variety of Strawberry that produces large, dark red fruit which are firm with an excellent flavour. The conically shaped fruit ripen in summer and produce great yields. It grows as a clump to about 30 cm tall and 40 cm wide, but will colonise a larger area with time. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun. “Perpetual” is commonly grown for fruit production and even the most novice grower can produce a fantastic crop of strawberries. It is also well suited to growing in a container (or hanging basket), including in border plantings, or adding to the edible garden.
