Crocus Mixture
The Crocus Mixture features bulbs of different varieties. They all have showy flowers which are borne en masse from late winter through early spring above the lush, grass-like foliage. The combination of flowers and dark green foliage is impressive and lets you know spring has arrived. These bulbous plants typically grow to 15 cm tall and 10 cm wide, performing best when positioned in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. They are all tolerant of dry periods, frost, cool climates and will often die back during these times to regrow when conditions start to warm. This mixture can be grown in a container, included in rock and cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, used in border plantings, or planted around the base of trees and shrubs. A mass planting is a must with bulbs spaced 10-15 cm apart.
