Freesia Bari - Potted Plant
“Bari” is a variety of Freesia that features light pink flowers with a cream centre. The fragrant and showy blooms are borne on slender stems from spring above the lush, dark green foliage. This perennial typically grows to 25 cm tall and 10 cm wide, performing best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry, frost, cool climates, and will die back during these times to regrow when conditions start to warm. “Bari” is commonly included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, used in border plantings, planted around the base of deciduous trees and shrubs, or maintained in a container. A mass planting is a must with this variety and be careful not to over-water the plants.
