Gladiolus Halley is a stunning variety of Gladioli that features cream-white flowers with darker centres. The showy blooms are borne on sturdy stems from late spring above the lush foliage. This perennial typically grows to 50 cm tall and 20 cm wide, performing best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of short periods of dry, frost, cool climates, and will die back during these times to regrow when conditions start to warm. Gladiolus Halley is commonly included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, used in border plantings, or planted alongside a bland fence. A mass planting looks amazing and in this instance space bulbs 15 cm apart and plant 5 cm deep.
