Hyacinth Collection Details

This collection allows us to showcase our favourite varieties with each variety named. The showy and fragrant blooms are borne off a sturdy stem that can rise to 25 cm tall during early spring. They are complemented with dark green foliage. These perennials typically grow to 15 cm tall and 10-15 cm wide, performing best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained site. They are tolerant of short periods of dry, frost, cool climates, and will die back during these times to regrow when conditions start to warm. This collection is commonly included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, used in border plantings, or maintained in a container and brought indoors. A mass planting is a must with bulbs spaced 10 cm apart and planted 8-10 cm deep.
