Iris Mixture Details

This mixture showcases our Dutch Iris varieties with a mix of colours. The large and showy blooms are borne on sturdy stems from mid-spring above the lush foliage. These perennials typically grow to 40 cm tall and 15 cm wide with the flowers standing up 75-85 cm tall. They perform best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained site and is tolerant of short periods of dry, frost, and cool climates. They will generally die back during these times to regrow when conditions start to warm. This mix is commonly included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, used in border plantings, or planted around the base of deciduous trees and shrubs. A mass planting is a must to give impact and bulbs should be spaced 10 cm apart and planted 8-10 cm deep with the pointed end facing up.
