This mixture showcases our Ixia varieties. The showy blooms are borne on sturdy stems through late spring above the slender foliage. These perennials typically grow to 30 cm tall and 15 cm wide with the flowers standing up to 65 cm tall. They perform best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained site and is tolerant of short periods of dry, frost, and cool climates. They will generally die back during these times to regrow when conditions start to warm. This mix is commonly included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, used in border plantings, or grown specifically to produce cut flowers. A mass planting is a must and bulbs should be spaced 10 cm apart and planted 5-8 cm deep.
