“Dark Prince” is a succulent grown for its impressive colourings. It grows as a short and stout rosette of thick, dark brown-black leaves with a purple undertone. A stem carrying red flowers will occasionally rise well above the foliage in summer. This succulent typically grows to 15 cm tall and 30 cm wide, and performs best when grown in full sun position on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost, cool climates, coastal conditions, and dry periods. “Dark Prince” makes for a great pot plant and is often used in rock gardens, or grown where something hardy and a little unusual is wanted. It also makes for a fantastic addition to outdoor living areas.
