Cereus tetragonus, commonly known as the Fairy Castle Cactus or Triangle Cactus, is a smaller cactus grown for its interesting form. It produces short towers made up of fleshy, spiny stems, and typically grows to 40 cm tall and 20 cm wide. Cereus tetragonus is commonly grown as an indoor plant or added to rock and Mediterranean gardens. A mass planting in a border can also look very effective.
