Trichodiadema densum Details

Commonly known as the Miniature Desert Rose, this is a succulent grown for its petite nature and pretty flowers. It carries small and fleshy leaves that are covered in fine hairs. The foliage is adorned with showy, pink flowers through winter and spring, which produces an amazing display. It spreads like a mat and will grow to about 10 cm tall and 30 cm wide. This succulent performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site, and is tolerant of light frost, extended dry periods, and coastal environments. The Miniature Desert Rose is commonly maintained in a container, included in rock gardens, mass planted as a border, or planted in the more arid areas of a garden to provide great colour. It is both low maintenance and very rewarding.
