Bignonia cherere, commonly known as the Red Trumpet Creeper, is a vigorous, evergreen climber that produces an abundance of tubular, red flowers from summer through autumn. Left untrimmed this climber can grow to 25 m but it is often contained to sizes much less than this. Bignonia cherere is commonly used to cover pergolas, garden arches, fences, walls, or other supporting structures. It is a great addition to the garden and will cover an area quickly.

Bignonia cherere, commonly known as the Red Trumpet Creeper, is a vigorous, evergreen climber that produces an abundance of tubular flowers from summer through autumn. Each flower is about 7cm long, bright red with a purple hue, and has a prominent yellow throat. The foliage is lush, leathery, and green. Left untrimmed this climber can grow to 25 m but it is often contained to sizes much less than this. Best performance with this plant is achieved when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site.
